English4Kids group classes introduce children to the English language in a fun and educational environment. We teach English language skills to groups of children aged up to 12yrs through games, arts and crafts, songs, storytelling, drama, as well as traditional teaching methods. All materials and a structured curriculum are provided by Upgrades.

We are looking for an assistant for our classes in Göteborg. As an assistant, you support the camp leader during the lesson. You enjoy working in a team and have a flexible and adaptable approach to the tasks handed to you.

You should also be prepared to stand in as a leader if needed. More information is provided at the interview.

English4Kids classes will be on Saturday mornings in the Hagen area of Västra Frölunda and are 45/50 minutes (depending on age). As the English4Kids tutor, you will have 4 classes every Saturday morning (9am-1:30pm) with circa 6 students per class.

The term starts in February and runs for 10 weeks. There will be a two week break for the Easter school holiday in April.

As an applicant, you must:

· Have full professional proficiency in English and have graduated from an English-speaking college or university (Teacher certification is not mandatory, but is highly regarded)

· Have experience of working with children

· Focus on delivering high quality

· Speak Swedish to an intermediate level

· Be responsible, and due to the remote working nature of the role, be able to work on your own initiative.

We are looking for energetic, positive individuals who have a genuine interest in children and are excited to inspire kids to speak English.

Upgrades Education also offers private lessons and language focused babysitting. As such, there is potential to take on additional assignments.
